With the second lockdown being enacted across the EU, many citizens across the EU nations have come out protesting as governments remove people’s freedoms, replacing them with Orwellian rules. Many people across the EU do not have money to live on, and with everywhere locked down, people can’t work. This is one of the reasons why many have come out protesting.
Here in the UK, there have been many reports of people losing their homes and being made homeless without any prospects of returning to a job as one in seven jobs go bust. The economic harms of this pandemic have started to hit many people. There has also been an increase in cases with people suffering from mental health problems such as anxiety and stress without the help on offer to help people through their mental episodes.
